I have never needed a vacation like I do right now. Life can get pretty complicated. And being the internal, subjective beings we are (or at least I am), it can get quite exhausting from all that thinking! As Julia Cameron said in her amazing book, "The Artist's Way", you need to fill the creative well. And life has run mine quite dry at the moment. You can't create with nothing to draw from. So I'm off to Europe for a 3 week journey into a different perspective. I'll be visiting London, Cannes and parts of Italy - including Cinqe Terre, Tuscany, Florence and Venice. I so need a break!! I need to get away from all that is familiar and routine, and bring some new visuals, smells, sounds and tastes my way. Having traveled off and on since I was a kid (my parents loved to travel), I find seeing life outside my small world to be an empowering, life opening/altering experience. I don't have a lap top, so I can't promise to write any blogs while away, but I will write when I return in the beginning of June. Hopefully I'll be refreshed and ready for "Infinite Man" to step forth into the world...
